Dr. Oz’s 25 Greatest Health Tips

Continuing the share out of Dr. Oz’s “Greatest Health Tips,” today we pick back up with # 11….

#11. Avoid fad diets…it’s not about low carbs or certain colored foods. It’s more about decreasing your caloric intake by 100 calories a day for continuous, extended keep-it-off fat loss.

#12. Be a smart patient. Seek a 2nd opinion before undergoing a procedure. Know your health history and that of your family.

#13. Lose the beer belly. Or doughnut belly. Whatever –just take a tape measure and make sure your inches are at least half of your height…every inch you lose adds years to your life. Adding inches increases your risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer….isn’t that enough motivation to LOSE it??!

#14. Go GREEN! You know I love this one. I’ve been a green tea drinking girl for years. Dr. Oz makes sure he drinks at least 3 a day. (I personally aim for 4-6 cups!) Polyphenols with a small bit of caffeine makes is an awesome drink to add to your routine.

#15. Sweat till you’re wet. In other words, move your body and get a bunch o’ benefits.
